Christ calls His disciples to be His representatives in this world without adopting the ways of this world — for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it.

In the Gospels, Jesus points out the distinction between knowing about Him and being His obedient disciple.

Loving God. God wants us to love Him as much as He loves us. 

Without Christian love, God can only be an abstract concept.

What might it mean to live with Jesus as the Lord of my life?

What might the narrow gate mean for the baptized?
